These conditions, collectively referred to as orofacial clefts, occur when a baby\u2019s lip or mouth do not form properly during pregnancy.&nbsp;<br><br>\u7576\u53e3\u984f\u88c2\u900f\u904e\u624b\u8853\u9032\u884c\u4fee\u5fa9\u6642\uff0c\u5e38\u6703\u7522\u751f\u4e00\u7a2e\u9686\u8d77\u4e14\u589e\u539a\u7684\u75a4\u75d5\uff0c\u7a31\u70ba \u80a5\u539a\u6027\u75a4\u75d5\uff08hypertrophic scar\uff09\u3002\u6b64\u985e\u75a4\u75d5\u53ef\u80fd\u9020\u6210\u5916\u89c0\u8b8a\u5f62\u4e26\u5f71\u97ff\u529f\u80fd\uff0c\u5c0d\u60a3\u8005\u5e36\u4f86\u91cd\u5927\u7684\u793e\u6703\u8207\u7d93\u6fdf\u5f71\u97ff\u3002&nbsp;<br><br>\u8fd1\u671f\u7531 ADA Forsyth Institute\uff08AFI\uff09 \u8207 \u52a0\u5dde\u5927\u5b78\u6d1b\u6749\u78ef\u5206\u6821\uff08UCLA\uff09 \u79d1\u5b78\u5bb6\u5408\u4f5c\u9032\u884c\u7684\u4e00\u9805\u7814\u7a76\u6307\u51fa\uff0c\u4e00\u7a2e\u524d\u6cbf\u7684\u65b0\u578b\u6cbb\u7642\u65b9\u6cd5\u53ef\u80fd\u80fd\u5920\u6e1b\u8f15\u751a\u81f3\u9810\u9632\u904e\u5ea6\u75a4\u75d5\u5f62\u6210\uff0c\u70ba\u50b7\u53e3\u7652\u5408\u8207\u518d\u751f\u91ab\u5b78\u9818\u57df\u5e36\u4f86\u91cd\u8981\u7a81\u7834&nbsp;<br><br>Scars are an important part of the body\u2019s natural response to injury to wall off the injured site from normal tissues.\u202fDuring healing, scars are replaced gradually with healthy tissues. However, in abnormal healing, excessive myofibroblasts \u2013 cells that produce and organize collagen and play a key role in wound healing \u2013 and other abnormal activities can lead to excess scarring that does not heal normally.&nbsp;<br><br>\u7814\u7a76\u5718\u968a\u6210\u54e1\u5305\u62ec AFI \u517c\u4efb\u6559\u5e2b <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/forsyth.org\/team_member\/eric-kang-ting\/\" id=\"e-mq42dr1g-yhgn6zd\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong id=\"e-mq42dr1g-jx6cvlc\"><u id=\"e-mq42dr1g-hyeevku\">Eric Kang Ting<\/u><\/strong><\/a>, D.M.D., D.Med.Sc.\uff0c\u4ee5\u53ca UCLA \u7814\u7a76\u4eba\u54e1 <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.uclahealth.org\/providers\/chia-soo\" id=\"e-mq42dr1g-qw89bo5\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong id=\"e-mq42dr1g-09eeox7\"><u id=\"e-mq42dr1g-7mhfu1q\">Chia Soo, M.D.<\/u><\/strong><\/a>, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/pin-ha-623535233\/\" id=\"e-mq42dr1g-xdnf1il\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong id=\"e-mq42dr1g-lgxq1pg\"><u id=\"e-mq42dr1g-emf7xej\">Pin Ha, D.D.S., M.D.<\/u><\/strong><\/a>\u4ee5\u53ca <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/dentistry.ucla.edu\/people\/zhong-zheng-phd\" id=\"e-mq42dr1g-j0esd6y\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong id=\"e-mq42dr1g-m4g1osp\"><u id=\"e-mq42dr1g-y28xmjk\">Zhong Zheng, Ph.D.<\/u><\/strong><\/a> identified a molecule \u2013 fibromodulin (FMOD) protein \u2013 which works to maintain a balanced level of myofibroblasts, resulting in minimal scarring at the surgical site. The scientists detail this mechanism in a <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nature.com\/articles\/s41467-025-58906-z\" id=\"e-mq42dr1g-co2nvpc\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong id=\"e-mq42dr1g-9646jb9\"><u id=\"e-mq42dr1g-mr7vu1x\">new paper published in <\/u><em id=\"e-mq42dr1g-fe3oxun\"><u id=\"e-mq42dr1g-kqg5cj4\">Nature Communications<\/u><\/em><\/strong><\/a>.&nbsp;<br><br>\u4e01\u91ab\u5e2b\u8868\u793a\uff1a\n\u300c\u6211\u5011\u7684\u7814\u7a76\u5718\u968a\u4e00\u76f4\u5728\u63a2\u7d22\u5982\u4f55\u6539\u5584\u5507\u88c2\u4fee\u5fa9\u624b\u8853\u5f8c\u7684\u75a4\u75d5\u554f\u984c\u3002\u6211\u5011\u5df2\u767c\u73fe\u4e00\u7a2e\u6e90\u81ea fibromodulin \u7684\u65b0\u578b\u80dc\u80bd\u85e5\u7269\uff0c\u53ef\u80fd\u6709\u52a9\u65bc\u6e1b\u5c11\u75a4\u75d5\u5f62\u6210\u3002\u672c\u7814\u7a76\u9032\u4e00\u6b65\u8b49\u660e fibromodulin FMOD\uff08fibromodulin\uff09\uff0c\u53ef\u9632\u6b62\u904e\u5ea6\u75a4\u75d5\u5f62\u6210\u3002\u6b64\u65b9\u6cd5\u4ea6\u53ef\u80fd\u6210\u529f\u9810\u9632\u87f9\u8db3\u816b\uff08keloid scars\uff09\u7684\u7522\u751f\u3002\u87f9\u8db3\u816b\u662f\u4e00\u7a2e\u75a4\u75d5\u985e\u578b\uff0c\u5176\u7279\u5fb5\u70ba\u75a4\u75d5\u7d44\u7e54\u904e\u5ea6\u751f\u9577\uff0c\u4e26\u8d85\u51fa\u539f\u59cb\u50b7\u53e3\u908a\u754c\u3002&nbsp;<br><br>\u201cBy targeting the biology of scarring at the molecular level, this breakthrough has the potential to transform outcomes for patients undergoing cleft repair and other surgical procedures,\u201d said AFI NIH.\u201d&nbsp;<br><br>\u8607\u91ab\u5e2b\u8868\u793a\uff1a\n\u300c\u4e01\u91ab\u5e2b\u8207\u6211\u5728\u904e\u53bb\u4e8c\u5341\u5e74\u4e00\u76f4\u81f4\u529b\u65bc\u7814\u7a76\u5982\u4f55\u6e1b\u5c11\u76ae\u819a\u75a4\u75d5\u3002\u9019\u9805\u6700\u65b0\u7a81\u7834\u8aaa\u660e fibromodulin \u53ef\u900f\u904e\u53d7\u63a7\u5236\u7684\u7d30\u80de\u6b7b\u4ea1\uff08controlled cell death\uff09\u4f86\u6e1b\u5c11\u904e\u5ea6\u75a4\u75d5\u5f62\u6210\uff0c\u986f\u793a\u5728\u6cbb\u7642\u904e\u5ea6\u75a4\u75d5\u60a3\u8005\u65b9\u9762\u5177\u6709\u91cd\u5927\u6f5b\u529b\u3002\u300d&nbsp;&nbsp;<br><br>\u9019\u9805\u7814\u7a76\u70ba\u76ae\u819a\u50b7\u53e3\u4fee\u5fa9\uff08cutaneous wound repair\uff09\u9818\u57df\u63d0\u4f9b\u4e86\u65b0\u7684\u89c0\u9ede\uff0c\u671d\u5411\u6e1b\u5c11\u75a4\u75d5\u5f62\u6210\u4e26\u6539\u5584\u81e8\u5e8a\u6cbb\u7642\u7d50\u679c\u7684\u65b9\u5411\u767c\u5c55\u3002\n\u912d\u535a\u58eb\u76ee\u524d\u6b63\u4e3b\u6301\u4e00\u9805FDA \u6838\u51c6\u7684\u81e8\u5e8a\u7814\u7a76\uff08Phase 1\/2A\uff09\uff0c\u8a55\u4f30 fibromodulin \u884d\u751f\u80dc\u80bd\uff08fibromodulin-derived peptide\uff09 \u7684\u6cbb\u7642\u6548\u679c\u3002&nbsp;<br><br>\u912d\u535a\u58eb\u8868\u793a\uff1a\u300c\u5728\u672c\u7814\u7a76\u4e2d\uff0c\u6211\u5011\u8b49\u660e fibromodulin\uff08\u5c6c\u65bc\u4e00\u7a2e matricellular proteoglycan\uff09\u53ef\u5728\u4e0d\u5e72\u64fe\u521d\u671f\u50b7\u53e3\u4fee\u5fa9\u7684\u60c5\u6cc1\u4e0b\uff0c\u52a0\u901f\u808c\u6210\u7e96\u7dad\u7d30\u80de\uff08myofibroblasts\uff09\u7684\u6e05\u9664\uff0c\u5f9e\u800c\u63d0\u4f9b\u4e00\u7a2e\u65b0\u7684\u6e1b\u5c11\u75a4\u75d5\u5f62\u6210\u6a5f\u5236\u3002\u300d&nbsp;<br><br><strong
